Shipping & Delivery Policy

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we deliver trailers,
shipping containers, shipping container pools, camper trailers, boat
trailers, horse and livestock trailers, food trailers, enclosed trailers
and utility trailers ordered from primetrailersaustralia.com. It forms
part of our Terms of Service.

We deliver across all of Australia and offer
yard pickup from our location at 21 George Crescent,
Ciccone, NT 0870. We currently do not ship outside
Australia
.

1. Delivery options

We offer the following delivery options. The options available to you
depend on the Product, its size and weight, and your location.

a) Yard pickup (free)

You are welcome to collect your trailer or container from our yard at
21 George Crescent, Ciccone, NT 0870 by appointment. Bookings can be
made by contacting us on +61 480 844 836 or
info@primetrailersaustralia.com once your order is paid in full. You
will need to bring photo ID, a copy of your tax invoice, and a tow
vehicle with appropriate towing capacity (for trailers).

b) Towed trailer delivery

For roadworthy, registrable trailers, we can arrange to have your
trailer towed to your delivery address by a licensed driver. A delivery
quote will be provided based on:

  • distance from our yard;
  • the size, weight and tow configuration of the trailer; and
  • any after-hours or weekend delivery requirements.

c) Freight delivery (tilt-tray / float)

Non-towed trailers, smaller shipping containers, container pools and
large freight items are delivered by a tilt-tray or float truck. The
quote will include the freight component; crane lifts or hi-ab
unloading are quoted separately
if required by the delivery
site.

d) Heavy haulage and oversize delivery

Shipping containers (20ft and 40ft), container pools and oversize
trailers may require heavy-haulage delivery, side-loader, swing-lifter
or crane truck. We coordinate this on your behalf and will provide an
itemised quote before you commit. Oversize permits and pilot vehicles,
where required, are included in the quote.

2. Delivery timeframes

The timeframes below are estimates only and start
from the date of full payment (or, for custom builds, from the date your
Product is completed and signed off in our yard). They exclude
weekends, public holidays, and delays caused by carriers, weather, road
closures or events outside our reasonable control.

For custom-built and made-to-order Products, lead
times are quoted at the time of order and are typically 4–10 weeks from
receipt of deposit. We will keep you updated on the build progress.

3. Shipping costs

  • Yard pickup is free.
  • Delivery costs are quoted on a per-order basis
    based on your address, the Product, and the delivery method required. We
    will provide a written quote before you pay, so there are no hidden
    costs.
  • For online orders, a shipping estimate is shown at checkout. The
    final shipping cost is confirmed in your order confirmation. If the
    actual freight cost is materially higher than the estimate, we will
    contact you before dispatching to confirm or refund the order at your
    option.
  • All shipping costs are in AUD and include GST
    where applicable.

4. Site access and delivery requirements

Before delivery, please ensure that:

  • the delivery address is accessible by the vehicle type required (a
    40ft container truck needs a clear, sealed driveway and turning
    area);
  • there is a competent person (18+) on site to receive and inspect
    the Product and to sign the delivery docket;
  • the site is prepared and level for placement of a container,
    container pool or trailer;
  • all council approvals (where required) have been obtained;
  • there are no overhead obstacles such as power lines, low branches
    or awnings; and
  • you have provided any specific delivery instructions in writing at
    the time of order.

If we attend a delivery and cannot complete it because of conditions
outside our control (no access, no one to receive, inadequate site
preparation, etc.), a re-delivery fee will apply. The fee will be quoted
before re-attendance.

5. Risk and inspection on delivery

  • Risk in the Product passes to you on delivery (or, for yard
    pickup, on collection).
  • Please inspect your Product before signing the delivery
    docket.
    If there is any visible damage, missing item, or
    discrepancy, note it on the docket and contact us within 24 hours with
    photos. We will work with the carrier and, where appropriate, make a
    freight insurance claim.
  • For defects that are not visible at delivery, please contact us
    within 7 days of delivery and we will assess the issue under our Returns Policy and applicable warranty.

6. Title

Title in the Product does not pass to you until we have received full
cleared payment, even if delivery has occurred.

7. Lost or significantly delayed deliveries

If your Product has not arrived within the estimated transit window
plus a reasonable allowance, please contact us on +61 480 844 836 or
info@primetrailersaustralia.com. We will investigate with the carrier
and keep you updated. Where a delivery is lost or significantly delayed
in transit through no fault of yours, we will work with you to provide a
replacement Product or a refund, in accordance with the Australian
Consumer Law
.

8. International shipping

We currently ship within Australia only. If you require international
delivery (for example, export of a container to New Zealand or the
Pacific Islands), please contact us to discuss whether we can assist on
a case-by-case basis.
